for Firsthand View of a Successful Midwest Business

President George Bush visited ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. on March 18, 2002. President Bush spoke on new initiatives aimed at helping small businesses, met with employees to learn firsthand the effects of the economy on workers and held a press conference. The White House selected ALBERS to host the President's announcement from a short list provided by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB).

ALBERS was notified of President Bush's pending visit just three days before the event.

An entire production bay had to be emptied to make room for a 400+ seat theater.

With the help of the White House staff, A/V specialists and ALBERS employees, the auditorium was prepared.

With everything in place, ALBERS is ready to meet the President.

Soon everyone arrived and went through security.

As predicted, more than 400 invited guests and numerous members of the media attended.
