 In 1995, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Nations Business magazine and Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company, awarded ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. the Blue Chip Initiative Award.
The prestigious award is given for the best use of resources to overcome a business setback.
At the time, ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. had lost a significant amount of business from its largest customer who had decided to split the business in order to have two sources.
ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. regained this business within one year and has since then been the sole source for their product.
 At a Suppliers Day ceremony in Dallas, Texas in April 1999, Lucent Technologies presented ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. with the Pushing the Envelope Award for adding exceptional value to the customer's Power and Accessories Division.
ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. has been manufacturing products for Lucent for over 15 years.
During that period of time, ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. has never increased power distribution cabinet prices and in recent years has found ways to reduce prices.

 IndustryWeek, the leading management magazine for small to mid-size manufacturers, named ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. to its IW Growing Companies 25 list for 1999.
The award, recognizing America's Most Successful Small Manufacturers, was presented to ALBERS Manufacturing Company, Inc. at IndustryWeek's "Blueprint For Growth Conference" in Nashville, TN, on May 23, 2000.
